In kharagpur Durgapuja was main event and
all community participate in this festival .Other than Durgapuja navratra
celebration was also celebrate in same manner by north Indian and small Gujrati
community of kharagpur. In this festive season Gujrati community arrange
dandiya, Garva and Navratra celebration in town .Gujrati school of kharagpur
where the main event took place. Other than Gujrati School Jalaram temple of
Jhapatapur also organised navratra in kharagpur.
