MADPUR:Dream destination for peace lover

Madpur a small village in the west midnapur district. This  village is same like any other village of westbengal but beauty of this village is more compare to other village ,which I saw. Train and bus both service available to reach this village. Madpur is only second stoppage from kharagpur station after jakpur. Except the galloping local train all other local trains are stop in this station.Madpur is neither a big tourist spot nor the crowed of people like in cities. Here you can get the beauty of nature everywhere, green paddy fields spread in vast area, when harvesting time come this field cover with a yellow cover.

As like any other village of Westbengal this village is also cultivated all seasonal crops like, paddy, mustard ,different variety of vegetables. Like jakpur, many flowers nursery are developed by the farmers, which help them to get extra money. Many farmers of this area are cultivating marigold in their farm land. Madpur is not only famous for the natural beauty of the area but also for the famous mansa temple .

In every year during mansa puja a carnival organized by the local people, where you can watch the local handicraft and artistic goods available at a affordable rate. This carnival is not like any other exhibition of any big cities, where any trust or NGO sell the local handicraft. In this carnival local people sale there product directly. With the past of time this temple gets more attraction from the local of the district.

If you are from a city and never breath a fresh air or unable to see the open sky due to the concrete jungle than, madpur is the perfect place to visit. There is no hotel or guest houses,so it is better that you can stay in kharagpur and from there you can come to see the beauty of nature .People are supportive but are unable to interact other except  in regional language. Only Bengali medium schools are available here, for higher education they need to go near about places. As this place is on the way toward Kolkata, so there farmers are easily sale there product to market.

Kharagpurmylove want to bring this small village in front of rest f the world. There is big possibility that the pictures of the post, definitely strike in the mind. If you want to give any feedback to kharagpurmylove than contact here: kharagpurmylove@gmail.com
