Mata puja celebration started in different locality of Kharagpur .As this festive was celebrate in every part of town.Previous glory of this festive still persist but main event of Mata puja was dance performance, which was now closed our avoided by most of the organiser due to Local police unsupportive role.Local police not ready to provide protection to any organiser so, organiser need to arrange this performance on their own risk.

Now only in malancha Mata puja dance performance arrange by organiser.In this post I was showing mata puja celebration in Ayma, Malancha area because other area celebration was going own and we post later .With starting of this month Mata puja celebration was started in town. This celebration mainly started from April end to till July in different parts of town.

Mata is actually gram devi of Kharagpur and every area has their own solahpuri mata temple and they celebrated on different time.
This celebration was for eight days On first day mata idol created and setup on local area temple after parikrama. Next ix days different ritual and puja organised in temple .On eighth day whole para or locality arrange different gate, rangoli and taboo for celebration. This was also known as carnival festival of town.
