Sudden weather change also brings joy among the people, because from last couple of days a hot weather feels by Kolkata’s but from 24 December morning cold weather atmosphere spread throughout the Kolkata and suburb. I am getting only one day leave from my office so I don`t had lots of plan to enjoy. I decide to 24 nights in Kolkata and in 25 I can move to suburb areas.

In Kolkata main area of celebration were park street .Every year a lots of crowed gather here to take part in the event organized by Tantra and other restaurants and disco. This year administration had some strict rules and regulation, which reduce number of people to join this festival, but still there was a huge people gathering. Main attraction was the different churches in Kolkata like: St. John's Church, St. Paul's Cathedral. There are lots of other churches are here but the main attraction was the suburb churches like church in Bandel and Chandanagar.

Christmas carrel and lighting are the main part of decoration. Our chief minister would take main interest in street lighting so you can easily watch decorative lights from airport to every corner of the city.

In kharagpur also there is good number of christens, some Anglo Indian families are also live in Hijli area. South point church, secrate heart church and Baptist church of Kharida.

I am unable to come in kharagpur due to my office, but my friends were inform me the celebration.

A temple town of West Bengal:Bishnupur


As season come for picnic .Now I am giving some interesting place for picnic. In this series today  am presenting Bishnupur ,which is well known for its architectural and terracotta templates and bildings.This area was governed by the hindu ruler ,who is ruled under the samudragupta .This area was capital of mallah king of mallabhum. King Raghunath and veer singha of mallah dynasty made this town as main centre of culture in Bengal. Total population of this area is 62000 approx, male and female are 50% of the population, literacy rate is 69%.This area is connected with howrah and kharagpur through rail and road way. This is comes in South Eastern railway. Statebus service also connects this area from rest Bengal and Kolkata. Main attraction of this place is:
Rasmancha:



This is a unique temple built by bricks.This temple constructed in 1600AD by king veer hambir. This is the oldest temple of this area.

Jorebangla Temple of Keshto Rai:




This temple built by mallah king raghunath singh in 1655.This temple decorated by terracotta  scupculture, which showing the different stages of life.

Pancha Ratna Temple of Shyam Rai:




This temple constructed by king raghunath singh of mallah dynasty in 1643 AD.

Madanmohan Temple:


This teple was constructed by king durjan singh deo and 1694AD.This temple was maily built for family deity of king(Radha and Krisha).Architecture is marvels, Ramayana and Mahabharta epic seen created in the wall.

These are the large water tanks, which built to protect town from enemy by mallah kings .These reservoirs are giving a great look to the near about area.

Science express in Kharagpur 28june-1july 2013


Science exhibition mobile train service started by ministry of science and technology and ministry of forest. The main motive of this mobile train to inform the new generation about Indian scientific development as well as biodiversity. Tips program was started from 2012 and it’s continue in 2013.This exhibition train came to kharagpur in 28 June-1 July 2013.Here was some pictures of science exhibition train when it was in kharagpur.
