Pakbirrah and Banda: One of the old Jain Temple in this area

Pakbira or Pakbirrah is one of main jain temple in his area. Large number of jain sculptures was found here. A massive statue of Padmaprabha, which was a biggest jain saint statue found in Purulia.

Banda is a village in Raghunathpur and thirty-five kilometer far from purulia.Temple is 75ft long built by sand stone. This was constructed during 11th century AD.As my nature I am always searching some unique places ,which are not so much crowed but have historical importance as well as enrich natural beauty. West Bengal has many places, which have rich natural beauties.
