Last year I was giving Christmas celebration picture forKolkata and kharagpur on same post, this time I was giving two different post
for these two cities.

From
24 evening festival mood started among the people. Most crowed gathered in park
street. Due to some intelligence report there is huge security arrangement made
in park street but still people went there .From last seven years I was
watching that people from IT sector like sector five after finishing their
office went to park street to enjoy this festival. There was no specific
community gathering, people from all community gathered there for celebration.
Main attraction was lighting, concert, and definitely the restaurant. Now in
other places also there was huge gathering like, nicco park, nalban, etc. Different
cultural program was arranged over here every restaurant .I was going to
mainland china with my other office colleague .this was in embypass area in silver
arched. We were taking different delicious food items in dinner, starting with
crispy baby corns, some crispy fried items and prawns. Than in main menu we
took fried rice with mushroom, chickens dish. In beverage we were taking coke, fruit
juice, shampion, wishkey and beer.

desert we were taking dry fruit ice-cream. Food was really delicious and we
return to home at near 11 p.m.
All the salt lake and Newtown and rajarhat area decorated with colourful lighting . In Durgapuja all parts of city decorated with lighting except salt lake but in Christmas this area also decorated so this enhance the beauty of this area.
In nalban a musical show was perform and in salt lake stadium one marudyaan mela was organized by Marwari community were different Rajasthan cultural program perform.
Definitely the decoration in park street was much better than this area but I prefer less crowed to enjoy anything .From bidhan nagar to airport area road also decorated with lighting .As I was stay in kestopur where christen community also decorate all the road with colourful lighting and also made some pandal with tharmacol and different items, where Jesus and their followers statues were made.
In the rest of the country people fight for conversion and different issue but in Kolkata it’s very hard to know who was christen and who belong to other community because all were came together to celebrate this festival.
I was really surprised by behaviour of this city, here people had enough time to discuss for politics but they never waste their time in discussion for religion.
This was really a unique feature of city of joy.
