Ghatsila is a town of east singhbhum district of
Jharkhand and hardly 125 km far from kharagpur. Ghatsila is well connected with
kharagpur and rest of the country through rail transport.It will take one and
half hour in express train. Many passengers and students are going ghatsila for
diffent purpose from kharagpur.There are many kharagpur students are enrolled
in Ghatsila College every year.
Ghatsila College was establish in the year of 1967.The total 8000 students capacity with hostel facility.
Raja Jaganath built the rangini temple in galudih but due to some problem sift that in ghatsila and later constructed a kali temple there. This temple was later famous as rankini devi temple.
Ghatsila has many attractive natural and manmade views.
